Arbutus Roots
Arbutus Roots are a Vancouver Island based, up and coming band from the Cowichan Valley. They play west coast rooted, alternative pop written with a love for harmonies and lyrics. It has been compared to The Tragically Hip, Mumford and Sons, with hints of Dave Matthews and the Bare Naked Ladies.
For those of you that have seen us lately, you'll know that play full on electric these days. We started Arbutus Roots as an acoustic band, and we are pumped dust off our acoustic guitars so we can play a night of acoustic music for the Cowichan Folk Guild.
There's an open mic to start the night, if anyone has some music to share. We hope to see you~
